What Is It?

Music for Life is a friendly group of adults who meet weekly to engage in a wide range of uplifting music activities.

Who is it for?

Anyone who wishes to have fun making music in a group.  No previous experience necessary.  Whatever your musical interest ‘Music for Life’ is for you!  Singing, writing songs and learning new skills.  Making music together is a great way to lift your spirits, so...bring along your musical passion, and a sense of fun.

What’s the benefit?

The health benefits of music have been recognised for thousands of years.  Music has a universal power to reach us, touch us and transform us.

Active involvement in music-making experiences transforms confidence, and builds physical, emotional, mental and social wellbeing.  At Music for Life the environment is welcoming.  We meet people at their particular skills level and work with them through a variety of music making activities to help them realise their aims.  Activities can range from Song writing, Percussion workshops, Singing, Music Production leading to CD production and performance opportunities.

Wherever your desires lie, making music together encourages communication, action, relationship and expression.

Availability (where and when)

We are currently looking to run weekly sessions from our base.  However, this model can be delivered in a venue and at time of your choice and for any number of weeks that meets your needs.  Please contact SoundWave to discuss your requirements.  We look forward to welcoming you to our established group or designing a project especially for you.

How much will it cost?

SoundWave are happy to build a ‘Music for Life’ experience tailored to your particular needs.  A SoundWave programme leader will be more than happy to discuss the costs with you.

Where could it lead?
