Welcome to the SoundWave Schools Programme. Here at SoundWave we believe that music has the power to transform lives. We would like to provide your school with an exciting and engaging music programme that could enhance the learning experience. The Federation of Music Services recently published a document entitled ‘10 things a school should know about music’, it states that: 1. Music boosts pupil and social development 2. Music improves learning skills 3. Music fosters team working 4. Music builds life skills 5. Music underpins better behaviour 6. Music encourages creativity 7. Music is for life 8. Music is an educational building block 9. Music is fun 10. MUSIC IS FOR EVERYONE! We can provide short taster sessions through to year-long residencies in a variety of genres. We are able to meet the needs of all age ranges from family learning and foundation stage to Key Stage 4 and provision can take place at a time and setting most convenient to you. SoundWave has an excellent reputation for providing Continual Professional Development opportunities to school staff and we try wherever possible to ensure these are embedded within our programmes. All of our employees have enhanced CRB certification and have received the relevant Safeguarding training. We consistently strive towards excellence and quality standards in line with OFSTED requirements.
