Sing Owt

'Sing Owt' is a friendly bunch of enthusiastic adult  singers (age 14+) that meets weekly to sing a variety of modern, traditional, weird and wonderful songs from all genres including pop, jazz, blues, folk and rock. Enthusiasm is more important than any previous experience and new members are always welcome!

What Is It?

A dynamic and fast-paced percussion ensemble incorporating noise and movement using Boom Dang drums

Who is it for? (target group, numbers, previous experience)

The award-winning Beat It Up Boom Dang drumming groups can be created anywhere and for any client group as the drums are portable and designed especially to enable movement. No previous experience is required, simply a desire to hit something hard and make a loud noise!

What’s the benefit?

Develop rhythm and coordination skills. Learn something new and enhance group working.

Availability (where and when)

Weekly sessions are currently held at CRE8, Oxford Street, Workington on Tuesday evenings from 5pm.

We will be running a session at Whitehaven Civic Hall from October 2010, so please contact SoundWave for more details.

If you are a community group or school we can provide sessions and taster days in a venue of your choice.

Who will deliver it?

David Roberts, a West Coast musician born and bred with vast experience as a band musician and percussionist. Dave has a passion for reaching out to people with noise.
